Winning the weekly leaderboards: Peerlist, Uneed, DevHunt
Four smaller launches where placing first is realistic, spread across four weeks.
2h 30mMediumLaunch
Peerlist, Uneed, MicroLaunch and DevHunt run weekly cycles with far smaller fields. This is where a solo maker can realistically place first, and where the same launch material gets four more uses.
01
Check each one's queue before picking a week
Free slots are often scheduled weeks out. Look at the upcoming list and choose a week that is not already crowded.
02
Stagger them across separate weeks
Firing all four at once wastes the material. One a week means four rounds of sharing from a single launch.
03
Reuse the Product Hunt assets
The gallery, tagline and demo all transfer. Adjust the length of the description and nothing else.
04
Complete your profile first on Peerlist
Projects posted from empty profiles get ignored there. Fill it in before you submit anything.
Watch out
- The audiences are small. Placing first on a weekly leaderboard is a good backlink and a modest traffic day, not a growth event.
- Check whether each platform allows a product that has already launched elsewhere; a few restrict to new releases.
