12 AI tool directories that accept submissions (2026)

Every AI directory promises search traffic; a handful deliver it. The ones here index by task rather than by category, which is what makes them worth submitting to: you rank on the page for the job your tool does, and that page keeps sending visitors long after your launch day.

Three things to settle before you submit. Pick the narrowest task page you can honestly claim, because a crowded one puts you on page four. Work out which currency each one takes: There's An AI For That, MicroLaunch, ToolDirectory.ai and Appscribed want money, while AI Toolz Dir, Launch Llama, Toolfio, EarlyHunt and ToolDisk want a permanent badge on your site instead, and a footer carrying five of them is a real cost to your own page. And check what the free lane actually returns, because on several of these it is a nofollow link and a wait, with the followed version reserved for whoever paid or placed.
