12 best startup directories to submit to (2026)

Most startup directory lists are recycled from 2019 and half the entries are parked domains. This is the shorter, current version: platforms with real audiences, an actual review process, and a link that isn't buried three clicks from a sitemap.

Twelve is the number that survived, not the number we set out to find. We track 842 platforms, each one walked and written up with its eligibility rules and the traps in its form, and the honest answer is that most of them are not worth your launch week. The order runs by domain rating, but that's not how you should work it. Start with whichever one your product is eligible for. AppSumo needs lifetime pricing, G2 needs business customers who'll write reviews, BetaList needs a product that still looks early, DevHunt takes developer tools and nothing else, and Peerlist wants your identity verified before it will show your work. Four of these want money and two want a badge on your homepage, which are both fine prices as long as you know which one you're paying.
