What you actually get
A launch day on a DR 75 domain with a dofollow backlink, plus a genuinely engaged community: several makers say it out-converts Product Hunt for them. Reaching that day now costs at least $14.99, because the free waiting line is shut.
How to submit to Uneed
- Give them the URL firstThe form at /submit-a-tool asks only for a product name and address. No account is needed to get this far, and the button reads Preview when logged out and Submit when logged in.
- Let their AI draft it, then check every fieldThey scrape your page and pre-fill the whole record: category, pricing, three tags, tagline and a full rich description. It is a draft written by their AI about your product, and it is confidently wrong in places.
- Fix the General tabName (30), slug (50), URL, category from five, pricing from Free/Freemium/Paid, exactly three tags from a controlled list, an open-source toggle, a tagline capped at 80, and a TipTap rich description.
- Add mediaA square logo of at least 128x128, one to three images of any size but a consistent aspect ratio, and an optional launch video URL.
- Save, and stop there if you are not readySaving puts the product in the waiting line. It does not launch: a separate Schedule your launch step picks the day, and their own modal says so.

Gotchas
The free waiting line is closed to new products. Saving a product still costs nothing, but the Schedule your launch modal offers only $29.99 to pick a date and $14.99 to be assigned one, so an unpaid product sits at Not scheduled forever and never publishes.
The submit path is /submit-a-tool. A bare /submit returns 404, which makes it look like submissions are closed.
Their AI fills the form from your page and gets things wrong with confidence. Ours came back tagged Freemium when the product is free, and with a Funding tag that had nothing to do with it. Read every pre-filled field rather than trusting the draft.
Tags are capped at exactly three from a controlled list, so a wrong one costs you a slot. There is no Marketing or Launch tag; SEO and Directories exist.
The logo and gallery share one file input, so uploading a gallery image after the logo silently replaces the logo. Upload the gallery first, or re-check the logo afterwards.
Let your agent submit to Uneed
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Uneed playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 3 Uneed rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 10 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: join the line is free: they assign a launch date at most five months out, and the listing needs an upvote score of 10 to stay published and 20 for the do-follow link. Fast-track and Skip the line are paid, and the free line can be closed when it is full, leaving only the paid lanes.
Types it into Uneed in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Uneed?".
