What you actually get
A page at /launch/<slug> whose Visit Website link carries only rel=noopener noreferrer, so the link is followed, which is what their homepage means by a permanent dofollow backlink. The page is a long profile with description, media, links, tags, tech stack and team, rather than a one-line row.

How to submit to Aback Launch

  1. Basics
Name, slug, a tagline of up to 120 characters and one category. A Quick Fill from URL box sits above it and can populate the form from your homepage.
  2. Description
A long description. The field takes well over a thousand characters.
  3. Media
Logo and cover as web addresses. There is no upload here, so the images have to already be online.
  4. Links, tags, alternatives, tech stack, team
Website, X and repo; up to five tags added one at a time; alternatives and tech stack can both be skipped; then a maker name and role.
  5. Plan
Featured Launch at $9, or Backlink Exchange free in exchange for their badge.
  6. Verify and review
Step 10 fetches your site looking for the badge and will not enable Next until it passes. Step 11 is the review and the submit.

Gotchas

The free lane is a mutual backlink, so the badge has to be live on your own site before step 10 will let you reach the submit at step 11. There is no way to finish the form and add it afterwards.
Media is by URL only. Nothing is uploaded, so a logo or a screenshot that lives on your laptop has to be published somewhere first.
Eleven steps is a long form to lose, and the plan and the verification both sit at the end of it rather than the start.
Their badge snippet writes rel="dofollow", which is not a real rel value and does nothing, so what they are checking for is the link rather than any attribute on it.

Let your agent submit to Aback Launch

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Aback Launch playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 5 Aback Launch rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 9 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that Aback Launch looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: featured Launch is $9 and buys placement. The free lane is called Backlink Exchange and asks for their badge on your site instead of the money; step 10 checks it before step 11 exists.
Types it into Aback Launch in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Aback Launch?".
