Gotchas
The badge must link to your item's own URL (/item/<slug>) with rel="dofollow", not to the homepage, and the snippet only exists once the details step has created the item.
The FREE card's button reads 'Verify badge first' and does nothing until their check has passed, so a listing stays 'Submitting' in the dashboard as long as the badge is missing.
