What you actually get
A listing carrying three do-follow links, which is the same number the paid tiers buy. What the money changes is the wait: paid publishes immediately, and the free card says the queue is running past 180 days and that a submission may be rejected for want of free slots.
How to submit to Dirs.cc
- DetailsLink, name, categories, tags, a short description and a Markdown introduction, plus an icon and an image. An AI Autofill button will fill it from your link.
- PaymentThree cards. Free is the first and its button reads Submit to review; the two paid ones publish immediately. The page becomes /payment/<id> and the record shows its own status.
- PublishThe third step is the publish itself, which on the free plan is theirs to do rather than yours.

Gotchas
The free card states the queue is running past 180 days at current pace, so a listing taken today is a listing next spring.
A free submission can be refused for no reason to do with the product: the card says it may be rejected because the free slots are limited.
Free asks for backlink maintenance while both paid tiers say no backlink is required, so the badge is the free plan's price rather than a general condition.
Both images are capped at 1MB, which is tighter than the usual 5MB and rejects an ordinary screenshot export.
Let your agent submit to Dirs.cc
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Dirs.cc playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 Dirs.cc rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 7 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that Dirs.cc looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: listing is $9.90, down from $14.90, and Featured $19.90 from $39.90, both publishing immediately with no backlink asked. Free is $0 and gets the same three do-follow links, in exchange for maintaining a link back and waiting.
Types it into Dirs.cc in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Dirs.cc?".
