Gotchas

The badge is not optional on the free lane: Submit free launch for review stays locked until their checker finds it, and the badge panel only appears on the last of four steps.
Their badge is a 1195x390 card rather than a badge strip, so a footer built for small badge images has nowhere sensible to put it.
