What you actually get
A Friday slot at 14:00 UTC among the six free ones that week, if editors approve it: booking the slot is not acceptance, and a rejection can arrive weeks later. Their pricing page ties the free dofollow to a top-three finish, but the dialog after submitting offers a permanent one for the badge alone, added when voting closes.

How to submit to FridayHunt

  1. Accept the terms first
The sign-in page has a mandatory I agree checkbox. Pressing Continue with Google without it returns an error rather than opening Google.
  2. Sign in
Google or an email magic link.
  3. Submit the project
The submit route is /projects/submit, reached through the header's Submit button.
  4. Take a Friday slot
Launches run Fridays at 14:00 UTC with six free and ten premium slots a week, first come, scheduled up to 45 days ahead.

FridayHunt requirements

Acceptance of their terms of service and privacy policy
A project URL, name and description
Their badge, needed only to keep a top-three dofollow linkoptional

Gotchas

Their terms include a Content Enhancement clause letting them rewrite, reformat and SEO-optimise the description you submit, and the agreement checkbox blocks the Google sign-in button itself, not just the submission.
Every free week was fully booked six weeks ahead when this was walked, and their own upsell prices the queue at 120+ projects waiting.
The dofollow is rented rather than earned: they add it once voting closes and remove it again if the badge disappears and the launch did not place top three.
A launch voting policy checkbox gates the final button, committing you to a single self-upvote, with launch removal or account cancellation named as the penalty.
Booking a Friday is not approval. Editors review afterwards, and ours came back weeks later as not approved for launch, does not meet our launch quality standards: no reason, no appeal path, the listing deleted and the badge left pointing at a Project Not Found page. Put the badge up if you want, but count the slot as a maybe until the launch actually runs.
