What you actually get
A listing in a catalogue of AI tools and SaaS, filed under up to three categories, with the submission visible as Pending under My Products on your own dashboard. The free lane's link is do-follow because the badge is what pays for it, so it is the same link the $9 tier buys.

How to submit to Gets.Tools

  1. Sign in
Google, GitHub, or an emailed verification code.
  2. Tool information
URL, name, a tagline of up to 160, a description of 500 to 5000 in Markdown, a logo, up to four screenshots, up to three categories, a pricing model and at least one platform. An AI button next to the URL will fill it from your site.
  3. Submission type
Three paid plans across the top and a Free Listing under an OR beneath them, which asks for the badge.
  4. Verify and submit
Copy the light or dark embed, put it in your footer, then Verify and Submit. It lands on your dashboard as Pending.

Gotchas

The free lane is under an OR below three paid cards, and all three of those advertise No badge required, which makes the badge sound optional when it is the free lane's entire price.
The description will not go below 500 characters, so a one-paragraph blurb is not enough to get past the first step.
The logo cap is 500kb, well under what most directories accept, so an ordinary PNG export is often rejected without an obvious reason.
There is no confirmation page. A successful submit drops you on your dashboard with the product marked Pending, and that row is the only receipt.

Let your agent submit to Gets.Tools

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Gets.Tools playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 5 Gets.Tools rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 8 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that Gets.Tools looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: one-Time Pro is $9 for life, Monthly Promotion $5 a month and Featured Listing $29 a month, and all three say No badge required. The free lane sits under an OR below them and asks for a do-follow badge in your footer instead, reviewed within two days.
Types it into Gets.Tools in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Gets.Tools?".
