What you actually get
Once deployed, your own indiepa.ge/handle page listing your startups, and each startup on the Discover feed under its category, ranked by the page's traffic score. The Discover feed's outbound links carried no rel at all when we read them, with ?ref=indiepage appended, so that one is followed. 24,000 solopreneurs and 5,766 startups when we looked, with Marc Lou's own page at the top of the examples. Before a pass is paid the page URL renders the draft under an 'Upgrade your account to deploy' banner and Discover carries none of its startups.
How to submit to Indie Page
- Claim a pagePick a handle at indiepa.ge/ and sign up from the homepage with Google, Twitter or an emailed link. The signup is a section of the homepage, not its own route.
- Build it in the editorName, bio and avatar, then Add Startup with a URL; it fetches the name and lets you set a tagline and a logo. Everything auto-saves as a draft.
- Pay to deployDeploy goes to /admin/upgrade: $25 a year or $45 once. Until then the page shows its draft with an upgrade banner and your startups are not on the feed.
- Appear on DiscoverEach startup goes on the feed under its category, ranked by the page's traffic score. There is no review.

Gotchas
Free stops at the editor: the Deploy button is the upgrade page, and we built a page, added the product and could not get it onto Discover for $0.
Discover is a by-product of a profile page, so your product sits under your name rather than on a page of its own: the maker page is the listing.
The feed ranks by the page's traffic score, so a page nobody visits sits at the bottom of its category.
Let your agent submit to Indie Page
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Indie Page playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 Indie Page rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 3 fields this form asks for, 1 of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: building the page and adding startups is free in the editor, and that is where free ends: the Deploy button opens the upgrade page, and nothing is public until a pass is bought. The 1-Year Pass is $25 once and the Lifetime Deal $45 once (struck from $55 and $75, '$30 off in October'), and either also buys a custom domain, analytics, email collection, Stripe revenue badges, the leaderboards and 'search engines follow your links'.
Types it into Indie Page in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Indie Page?".
