What you actually get
A listing at /project/<slug> with a do-follow link if you took the Badge Verified path, a Featured Partner highlight, and admin approval quoted at 48 hours. The publication estimate on the result page is a different number entirely, and on a free submission it can read a year out.

How to submit to LaunchBoosts

  1. Sign in
    Google, GitHub or email.
  2. Tell us about your tool
    Name, URL, a tagline of 25 to 70 characters, a short description of 120 to 160, one category of about forty, a pricing model, up to ten tags, a logo, up to five screenshots and a detailed description of 150 to 1500.
  3. Choose your path
    Free Queue, Badge Verified or Express at $9.99. The Badge Verified card offers a snippet and a verify button.
  4. Verify
    Press I have embedded it and it checks the live page, then hands you a result page with the link type and a publication estimate.

Gotchas

The card labelled Free Queue is the one that gives a nofollow link, and it says in as many words that you cannot add the badge later. The free path that follows is the middle card, Badge Verified.
The Badge Verified card promises instant verification and publish, and the result page then quotes a publication estimate that on a free submission can read a full year out. The 48 hours in the same paragraph is the admin approval, not the listing.
The tagline floor is 25 characters and the short description floor is 120, so a pack's usual one-liner is often too short at both ends.
