What you actually get
A permanent row in the directory and your own indexed page, live the moment you finish rather than after a queue. The link on your listing is a plain anchor to your site with rel="noopener noreferrer" and no nofollow, which is the thing being sold and it is real. Their sidebar advertising is the opposite and carries nofollow, so the organic listing is worth more than the paid slot next to it.
How to submit to LaunchPact
- Paste your URL and let it scanThe submit page is one field. Their AI reads your site and drafts the name, tagline, description and category, plus a screenshot taken from the scan.
- Sign in when it asksThe login wall appears at the scan, not before. Google is offered alongside email and password, and the URL you typed survives the round trip in the next parameter.
- Rewrite what the AI wroteThe draft is editable and it is a paraphrase of your homepage rather than your own copy. The description carries a live counter and will not go below 80 characters.
- Choose the badge or the $19Free asks for their badge on your homepage, linking to /startups and dofollow, then a Verify now button checks it. The paid lane skips the badge and goes live when payment clears.

Gotchas
Their AI writes the listing before you see it, and it writes a paraphrase of your homepage rather than your copy. On our own scan it produced a tagline and a description we would not have used, so read every field and replace it.
The free lane wants a dofollow link back, in those words, and their verifier checks the live homepage. You are paying for a followed link with a followed link, and the check happens against what is deployed rather than what you have written.
The site's other half is a Product Hunt upvote pool: their own copy says both founders commit to upvoting each other and verify it with screenshots on launch day. That is reciprocal voting and Product Hunt's own rules take a dim view of it, so joining it is a separate decision from being listed.
Let your agent submit to LaunchPact
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the LaunchPact playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 LaunchPact rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 7 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that LaunchPact looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: A listing is a bid, from $15: higher bids rank higher, and raising yours later costs only the difference. The free badge lane is gone. A separate $34 Activate launch is for their Product Hunt pact network and is not needed to be listed.
Types it into LaunchPact in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to LaunchPact?".
