You need
An account, by Google, GitHub or email

A logo and a wide product image, both uploaded
You'll be rejected if
Anyone who cannot put a badge on their own site, since the fourth step will not unlock without their checker finding it

What you actually get
A project page that publishes on a chosen launch date, with an outbound link that carries only rel=noopener once the badge check has passed. Launches run at 08:00 UTC and the board takes a limited number of projects a day, so the date is a slot rather than a queue position.

How to submit to Smol Hunt

  1. Sign in
Google, GitHub or an email and password.
  2. Project Info
Name, website URL, an optional affiliate URL, a rich-text short description, then the logo and product image as uploads.
  3. Details
Up to three categories from a searchable list of several hundred, up to five tech-stack tags, platforms, a pricing model, and optional GitHub and Twitter URLs.
  4. Launch Type and badge

Gotchas

The badge check sits on the same panel as the four paid tiers, so the free lane is the one card you have to scroll to and the only one that asks for anything other than money.
Free review is stated as up to 30 days, which is what the $9.90 tier is sold on skipping.
The badge snippet points at your own project page rather than their homepage, and that page does not exist until the first two steps are filled, so it cannot go up in advance.
An AI Autofill button offers to write your listing from your URL, which is a fast way to publish copy nobody at your company wrote.

Let your agent submit to Smol Hunt

A DR Booster at $50 is submission to ten sites in their own network.
