What you actually get
A product page with a followed link (the Visit link on a live listing carried only rel=noopener when we read it), a row on a leaderboard ranked by clicks to your site, and a builder profile by country. 538 products and 470 builders when we looked, the top product at a few hundred clicks all time, and a large share of the board from Israel, where the founder is. The site publishes a plain API, an MCP server and an llms.txt, so the listing is meant to be read by agents as much as by people.

How to submit to WhatAreYouBuilding.AI

  1. Product details
    Website (a repo or app store page counts, a vercel.app link does not), an optional Fill with AI, name, a one-liner capped at 80 characters, a description capped at 800, and up to three categories with the first as the main one.
  2. Media
    A logo and up to four screenshots, both locked until you sign in, so the listing defaults to your site's icon. Then the product's own X handle and contact email.
  3. You
    Your name or brand, your country (required; Global is on the list), your X handle and email, a funding stage, whether you are raising, a weekly stats email opt-in and the terms box.
  4. Submit and sign in
    Submit product first nags about the missing images, then opens the sign-in dialog: Continue with Google or an emailed link. The listing posts once you are in and stays editable.

Gotchas

Images need the sign-in and the sign-in only arrives at the last click, so the logo and screenshots are a second pass after the listing exists; submit without them and a modal tells you listings with images get about half as many opens again.
A deploy link is refused as the product website: a vercel.app address does not count, while a repo or an app store page does.
Your X handle is published as you, with its avatar pulled in beside your name, so a handle borrowed to get through the form credits a stranger.
