What you actually get
A project page on a DirEasy launch board that launches a limited number of projects every Monday at 08:00 UTC, with up to three of about 600 categories, a tech stack, platforms and a pricing model, and upvotes from the community. The free lane is sold as a guaranteed dofollow link from a DR 32 domain once the badge verifies; the product link on a live listing is rendered client-side and was not read on this walk.

How to submit to ShipThing

  1. Sign in
Google, GitHub or email and password; the Google route landed straight on the form with no consent screen.
  2. Project info
Name, URL (with an AI Autofill button), optional affiliate URL, a short description in a rich-text box, a logo and a product image.
  3. Details
Up to three categories from about 600 toggle buttons, up to five tech-stack tags, the platforms you support, and a pricing model.
  4. Launch type and date
Free Launch is selected by default. The badge snippet, a checkbox saying you added it and a Verify Backlink button sit on this step, before Next.
  5. Review
A summary of everything, then Submit Project.

Gotchas

The badge is verified on the launch-date step, before the review, and the Free Launch card is the one selected by default; on the older build of this same software (LookingForTools) the equivalent step had no verification and Submit went to a Stripe checkout, so read the step, not the card.
Launches happen once a week, Monday 08:00 UTC, with a limited number per week, and the free queue is up to 14 days on top of that.
The Details step wants three toggles pressed out of a list of about 600 categories in one column; there is no search, so the page is the length of the list.

Let your agent submit to ShipThing

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the ShipThing playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 5 ShipThing rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 11 fields this form asks for, 1 of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that ShipThing looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: free Launch (Verified Badge): reviewed and listed within up to 14 days, a guaranteed dofollow link, their badge verified on your site first. Premium Launch is $9.90 to skip the queue, ten slots a week. Premium Plus is $12.90 (shown struck from $25) for a promoted feed spot for 14 days, a featured border forever and a homepage spot, three a week. SEO Growth Package is $49 (from $99) for a review article and a newsletter feature. DR Booster is $50 for ten backlinks across the operator's network.
Types it into ShipThing in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to ShipThing?".
